Deborah Bookwalter has been an associate with The Law Offices of Craig P. Curcio since March, 2010. Prior to that, she was an Independent Insurance Adjuster for 16 years for No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation medical claims. She has extensive experience in working alongside insurance companies and insureds. Deborah specializes in defending motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases and has tried numerous cases to verdict.
Her extensive experience with claimant’s medical records was instrumental in the creation of the firm’s internal system of medical timelines for all cases. This invaluable tool allows the attorneys to quickly access medical records and other information about the claim to help develop a strategic defense to any lawsuit whether it is a large exposure loss or a smaller matter.
She has successfully drafted numerous motions and appellate briefs, orally arguing the same before trial courts and the Appellate Divisions. Deborah has also successfully participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. She graduated magna cum laude from Mount Saint Mary College in 2005 with a B.A. in History and Pace Law School in 2009. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2010 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
